Will It Fit? Measuring Before You Buy

Before ordering, measure your room's length and width and mark the sofa's footprint with tape on the floor — this makes it easy to visualise the size in your space. Also measure every doorway, staircase, and corridor the piece must pass through. A standard 3-seater sofa is typically 200–240 cm wide and 85–95 cm deep; allow at least 45 cm of walkway clearance on each open side. Check ceiling height for tall wingback or high-back chairs in compact rooms.

  • Vacuum fabric upholstery weekly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — never rub, as this spreads the stain.
  • Rotate loose cushions regularly to ensure even wear.
  • Keep upholstered furniture out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • For leather/leatherette, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaner; avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Schedule a professional deep clean every 12–18 months for longevity.
